FAQs

Are there any additional costs?

During your stay, everything is included, your accommodation, personal travel guide, all meals and premium bar and snacks at the retreat. We also include one (1) excursion or paid offsite activity each day from our extensive list on our Rates Page.

Can I change my Travel Guide each day?

Yes, you can change your travel guide on a daily basis if you wish.

Do all of the Travel Guides speak English?

Yes. All of our travel guides are fluent in English and usually several other languages.

Do I get assigned my Travel Guide or can I select?

You can pre-select a guide prior to arrival however we strongly suggest you wait until you arrive. This guarantees that your personal guide will be someone you can connect with and meets your own taste and needs.

Do I have to tip?

The girls and staff will usually be rewarded with tipping although we think it is entirely up to you to decide how much you can tip. Some guests will do a lot while others will be more conservative. In any case the staff will always understand and do their best. The quality of the services will not be affected by how much you tip.

Do you offer any deals?

We offer 3 Ways To Save on your vacation with us. These offers cannot be combined.

  1. We offer 10% off on Groups of 3 or more plus you get a FREE day aboard our private catamaran (a $1200 value). See details
  2. We offer 10% off on any reservation made a minimum of 60 days in advance.
  3.  If you book 4 nights we offer a 5th night FREE.

Note: There is a minimum Two (2) night stay on any reservation made with us. A minimum of Three (3) nights is required to take advantage of any of our savings promotions.

Do you offer deals for groups?

For groups of 3 or more we offer a 10% savings on your entire group plus a FREE day aboard our private catamaran which is an additional $1200 value. Please see our promotions page for details. Sharing our private villa together with friends/business associates is undoubtedly a wonderful way to experience our retreat.

Note: A minimum of Three (3) nights is required to take advantage of any of our savings promotions.

How do I make a reservation?

Visit our contact page where you can email us or phone and let us know the dates and package you're interested in. We will confirm with you shortly whether the dates you are considering are still available. Once we confirm your dates are available you will need to make your flight reservations through your travel agent or online booking.
After you have confirmed your desired dates and made your flight reservations, you will fill out our simple reservation form and online deposit. In order to secure your dates we require a $700 deposit. We will confirm with you once we receive your deposit. The balance is to be paid in cash, certified check, or travelers checks when you arrive.

How early in advance do I need to book?

We recommend you confirm reservations at least one to two months in advance, particularly if you are limited to certain dates for travel. We do offer a 10% Discount for reservations made a minimum of 60 days in advance. If you have an opening on short notice (this weekend!), we are quite flexible for individual reservations and may be able to fit you in so it's always worth checking with us. For private groups, more advance notice is recommended for reservations.

How long have you been in business?

Senses Private Club has been in business since 2005, operating out of different locations such as Europe, Central and South America and now in the Caribbean.

How many excursions and offsite activities are included in the nightly rate?

We provide one (1) excursion or offsite paid activity in your nightly rate. An example would be a round of golf, or a massage, or a dune buggy adventure. Any additional excursions or offsite activities would be an extra charge. The cost depends on the type of excursion or activity. Please see our rates page for a list of available excursions.

What do I need to know at the Airport?

You will fly into Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. The airport code is PUJ. A passport is necessary, and there is also a $10 tourist card that must be purchased at the airport upon arrival. Our VIP Airport Service will walk you through this process upon arrival. As soon as you exit the aircraft just look for a person holding a sign with your name on it. They will walk you to the head of the line and through the immigration and customs processing and to our waiting private driver who will bring you to our retreat. A visa is not required.

What if I want to stay longer?

You can stay as long as you like. See our nightly rate on our Rates Page. We do offer One Free Night if you stay a total of 5 nights.

What if my wife wants to come along?

That's perfectly fine and in fact we encourage it. We have many couples who love to experience the adventure we offer together. See our nightly all-inclusive Couples rate on our Rates Page.

What is the average age of your clients?

We have a very wide age range of clients. We feel it's not so much about your age but your attitude toward life and willingness to have fun that really matters. With that said, most of our clients fall between 30 and 65 years old with some exceptions on both sides of this range.

What is the average age of your Travel Guides?

Our travel guides are usually between 22 and 28 years of age. All of our guides are sophisticated, well educated, career-minded women who have a passion for travel and adventure. And of course beautiful inside and out. 😉

What is the best time of year to visit?

Any time of the year is a good time to visit. We operate all year round on a weekly basis. Just let us know what dates you are interested in and we will check and confirm availability. Weekend dates (Thursday-Sunday) tend to fill up and sell out first. If you are looking for a weekend date we recommend early reservations.

What is the environment at the Retreat like?

The atmosphere at our Retreat is a very unique one, a mix of relaxation, fun and wild times but classy. Expect to be happily surprised every time you visit us. This is a home away from home for our members and they are all part of the Senses family.

What is your Best Of House Room Policy?

We don't charge extra for room upgrades like some resorts. Instead we have a “Best of House” room policy, so when you make your reservation we give you the best room available at that time. If a Master Suite is open you get it for the same price as a Standard Suite. All of our rooms are great but there is a benefit to booking early.

What is your cancellation policy?

Upon receipt of written cancellation notice your deposit may be refunded or applied to a new reservation with at least 30 days notice prior to arrival. Thereafter, deposit is forfeited.

Where are you located?

Our private retreat is located in Punta Cana on the most desirable East Coast of the beautiful island of the Dominican Republic. We are less than a 2 hour flight from Miami. You can fly directly to Punta Cana (PUJ) from many major U.S. cities such as Miami, New York, Atlanta, Chicago and others. Check out our Why Senses page to learn more.
